We’ve known for some time now that Tiger Woods would be returning to games – with the GOAT signing a long-term deal with 2K some time ago. For fans of 2K’s PGA Tour games, there has been no official release date for PGA Tour 2K22 as of yet – but with the news of Tiger signing a long-term contract – it’s surely only a matter of time before it lands.
As the months have gone by, many have hoped for an official announcement for the latest PGA Tour game. However, nothing has been revealed just yet – putting doubt in many golf gamers’ minds.
2K’s PGA Tour 2K22 Release Date
The face of EA’s PGA Tour games hasn’t featured on the title since PGA Tour 14, with Rory Mcilroy taking the helm after a slew of bad press for Woodsy.
With this being the case, Tiger eventually relocated with 2K – who plans to release a slew of golf-based titles.
An official release date for PGA Tour 2K22 is still unknown, with absolutely no leaks, reveals, or announcements on the potential game released as of yet.

2K Purchases HB Studios – Developer Of PGA Tour 2K21
Alongside the original announcement of Tiger Woods signing a long-term deal, 2K also announced that the company had purchased HB Studios – developers of The Golf Club Series and PGA Tour 2K21 – further cementing the potential for a 2K22 release this year.
However, with us already reaching August – and still no sniff of a PGA Tour 2K22 announcement – the chances of a PGA Tour 2K22 arrival this year look increasingly unlikely.
